This temple of 18th century Venice, in the Palazzo Rezzonico overlooking the Grand Canal, by Longhena and Massari, keeps paintings of the greatest masters of this century, from Tiepolo to Rosalba Carriera, from Longhi to Guardi and to Canaletto, setted n a background with precious furnishings and ornaments of that century.

The Museum has a very famous collection of masterpieces, the majority given as gift, among them the one by Ferruccio Mestrovich and by Egidio Martini, who recently enhanced the museum with 300 works by the best painters of Venice paintings. On the third and fourth floor, there is the Pinacoteca Egidio Martini, with works by Cima da Conegliano, Alvise Vivarini, Bonifacio de’ Pitati, Tintoretto, Sebastiano and Marco Ricci.
